He’s smiling for real now! Gas can no longer be blamed, as of this week (Thursday 7/27 to be specific)! And what an adorable smile it is!
He’s starting to sleep more too- almost 6 hours last night between feedings…
Sorry we haven’t been updating more often! We’ve been busy! Give us a break!! 
Yesterday was Liam’s 6 week checkup. Everything went well. He’s a whopping 11.2 pounds, now! And 23.5 inches long, which puts him in the 90th percentile for length! We were *way* off when we tried guessing his weight before the appointment (we guessed around 9.5 pounds). He has been sleeping for 4 to 5 hours at night, and is holding up his head almost on his own now. We’re waiting for his first smile… He’s still very noisy, especially when he’s sleeping!
Clare had her 6 week checkup too and is doing well. She’s getting back to normal and has been given the ok to exercise again. With a new prescription of Prednisone, the hormonal rash she’s been dealing with for the last month has gone down alot. Unfortunately, the pediatrician said she’s seen it before in women who breastfeed and it’s likely to return 
Clare’s dad was in town this week as well! (just fyi, he was unaffected by the events in London). It was a last-minute work trip, with really great timing. We were even able to get Liam baptized while he was here. He headed back home last night; we were so happy he could meet his new grandson this early- Liam almost had to wait until Christmas!
