Graduate School

Posted on Friday, August 29th, 2003 at 10:34 am

Wooooohooooo!!! I was accepted to San Jose State University for my Master’s in Library and Information Science! I’ll be taking classes at the Cal State Fullerton campus as well as online. SJSU is one of only two accredited programs in California for Library Science.

My classes will start at the end of January, and I’ll still be working full time at Barnes & Noble, so I’ll be testing out the time management skills… I’ll be taking two of the three core classes: “Information and Society” and “Information Retrieval” (see descriptions here)

I’m excited but nervous! Hopefully, if I enjoy these classes, I’ll be done in about three years, and then I can be a Librarian! My life is so like the movie Party Girl with Parker Posie, sigh ;)

    That’s mah girl!

I think they should change the core class to “Information Society”, where you’d have to listen to “What’s on Your Mind (Pure Energy)” all day.
